Jim specializes in high-tech and aerospace industry communication, but has successfully completed projects in many arenas including high-end architecture, business/financial, retirement living and education. Some examples: advertising and public relations for Fortune 500 companies Honeywell, Micro-Rel and Copperweld Steel; public relations counsel and trade show representation for Garrett Aviation; annual report writing and coordination for banks in Pennsylvania and Ohio; speechwriting and presentation development; Web development and photography Terra Firma Design/Build; and overseeing local public relations for Paramount Pictures.

Jim earned his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton, attended the Masters communications program at the prestigious Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania and received his Masters degree in English from Gannon University. In addition to his extensive agency and corporate experience, he has taught college-level English at Penn State University and Gannon University. He offers a special two-day seminar in Crisis Communications at Scottsdale Community College and is an adjunct faculty member of the College of Design at Arizona State University.

A member of the Society of Aerospace Communicators, Society of Technical Communicators and past president/board member of Friends Of The Library organizations in several cities, Jim is also author of the e-book "Stories I Never Told My Family." (ISBN 0-9711166-0-1)
